My comment is directed at Freemont County's Consideration of an ordinance to require cabin owners to get a permit to rent their cabin to tourists. It's good to see the County is interested in tracking these. Our cabin is off Tygee Lane. I know the traffic, noise, snowmobiling, etc. has increased significantly since the opening of A River Runs By It Lodge (and perhaps others) who rent their cabin rooms to tourists. Currently, the private cabin owners pay to maintain our "private" dirt road, however the condition of our road been worsened and cost more to maintain as a result of some owners leasing out their cabins to tourists. I encourage the current actions of Freemont County and encourage more action to help protect the private cabin owners that to do not wish their enjoyment to be reduced by others who choose to run a business by leasing their cabin.
